HL7M5 is a Fumed Silica gellant dispersed in Hydrogenated Polyisobutene. Fumed Silica has a high surface area and low bulk density; it can boost viscosity in liquid systems. Kobo's Fumed Silica dispersions can help to improve shine in formulations, making them ideal for use in lip glosses, lipsticks and hot pours. Gels formed with Fumed Silica tend to be clear and exhibit shear-thinning behaviour.
