FAND65CSI
FAND65CSI is a dispersion containing 65% surface treated pigmentary, rutile Titanium Dioxide in a volatile, non-D5 carrier.
Kobo's pigmentary dispersions are widely used in colour cosmetics due to their multiple benefits over dry pigment powders. Dry pigments tend to aggregate in formulations which can affect the color strength, gloss and opacity. The colour intensity and opacity are usually highest when the aggregate particle size is closest to the primary particle size. Kobo's pigmentary dispersions offer full colour development, improved gloss and ease of use.
FAND65CSI is a dispersion containing 65% pigmentary, rutile Titanium Dioxide in a volatile, non-D5 carrier. The pigments are surface treated with Kobo's 11S treatment prior to dispersion. 11S treatment forms a uniform, stable silane coating that greatly improves the dispersibility of powders in silicones. 11S treatment is stable even at pH 3, has no residual methanol and has zero hydrogen potential.
Based on many years of experience, Kobo has carefully selected carriers and dispersants that mimic the volatility of cyclic silicones such as Cyclopentasiloxane. FAND dispersions are recommended for use in emulsions (e.g. liquid and cream foundation, concealer, mascara, blush) and may also be used in anhydrous formulations (e.g. eyeshadow, concealer).
