Aquaregul K

Aquaregul K is a mixture of the Potassium Salt of L-PCA (L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid) and an aqueous extract of Mexican cactus stems. Aquaregul K is a short and long term moisturiser for the skin.

UCIB (part of The Solabia Group) specialises in the research and development of innovative chemical active ingredients, and is particularly strong in the area of L-PCA (L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid) and its derivatives. L-PCA is part of the skin's Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) and has moisturising and hydrating properties. L-PCA is obtained by the cyclisation of the L-Glutamic Acid, an amino acid of plant origin. Derivatives of L-PCA also have other benefits.
