ImerCare 20P is a 100% natural mineral powder with an average particle size of 20 microns. It is made from Perlite, a volcanic glass that contains water in its inner structure. When flash heated, the water contained within the structure turns to steam and the Perlite expands like popcorn to give amazing spherical structures. These spheres are then milled to give broken spheres that have great transparency on the skin. The non-lamellar structure of these particles leads to light scattering that gives a matte effect.
