Bioecolia is an oligosaccharide obtained by enzymatic synthesis from natural sugars (Sucrose and Maltose). Bioecolia can help to protect and stimulate the skin's natural defences by acting as a bio-selective substrate for beneficial microbial flora (Ecoflora) to the detriment of pathogenic and undesirable flora. It is able to do this due to the specificity of its inter-sugar links. BioEcolia balances, maintains and stimulates the skin's Ecoflora, helping the body's first line of defence against external attack. Bioecolia is recommended for use in cosmetic formulations that help with skin and hair ecology.
