Glycopatch 1.5P
Glycopatch 1.5P is an anionic polysaccharide that forms a 3-D matrix which can be activated to form a patch that can be picked up and applied to the skin. Glycopatch can be activated using a variety of polyvalent salts or glycols - the final texture of the patch depends on the activator.
Glycopatch 1.5P is an anionic polysaccharide with a branched, deacetylated structure which is obtained via bacterial fermentation from vegetal Sorbitol and Autolytic Yeast Extract. It is supplied in the form of a 2.3% viscous solution in water. Glycopatch forms a 3-D matrix which can be activated to form a patch that can be picked up and applied to the skin. Glycopatch can be activated using a variety of polyvalent salts or glycols - the final texture of the patch depends on the activator. Patches made using Glycopatch can be formulated to progressively melt on the surface of the skin through gentle massaging, allowing any additional active ingredients contained within the patch to absorb into the skin. Glycopatch contains Biosaccharide Gum-4 which provides an anti-pollution effect - see the products "Pollustop" and "Glycofilm 1.5P" for more information.
