Redyless is an active ingredient that helps to stop facial flushing and chronic redness. It is a preservative-free, glucosylated derivative which is obtained by a transfer reaction of Glucose onto Piperonyl Alcohol. Redyless helps to control facial flushing which is caused by sudden changes in temperature, consumption of alcohol and spicy food, emotional stress, pollution and the sun. Redyless controls angiogenesis to reduce chronic redness and strengthens weakened blood vessels. The recommended use level is 2%.
Supporting data:
- In vivo: Significant reduction of persistent redness such as erythrosis/rosacea (reduction in intensity and surface area occupied by redness)
- In vitro: Inhibition of cold receptor TRPA1 and calcium flash stopping
- In vitro: Inhibition of hot and spicy receptor TRPV-1
- In vitro: Reduction in the formation of new vessels
- Ex vivo: Increased resistance of blood vessels to deformation (linked to chronic redness) via stimulation of PECAM-1 (protein for blood vessel cohesion)
- Ex vivo: Reduction of blood vessel diameter
Chemical Description: Propanediol, Aqua, Piperonyl Glucoside
