C-MO2G

A glycerol and glucose conjugate, which provides skin moisturisation and protection of skin barrier.

Glyceryl glucoside is often found in plants and organisms where it helps them survive in extreme conditions, such as drought, heat and UV stress.

C-MO2G supports the skin barrier through various processes:
1. Stimulates aquaporins, which maintain the skin's osmotic balance, resulting in improved long-term skin moisture.
2. Stimulates filaggrin expression, necessary for skin barrier maintenance and protection of cell integrity.
3. Reduces the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, providing anti-inflammatory action.
4. Reduces the expression of MMPs, whilst promoting collagen biosynthesis.

C-MO2G also improves foam quality, giving smaller and softer bubbles for gentle and efficient cleansing.
