RED 33AL-ASGP7

RED 33AL-ASGP7 is a Red 33 Lake that has been surface treated with Kobo's natural ASGP (Stearoyl Glutamic Acid and Polyhydroxystearic Acid) treatment.

The ASGP treatment is an amino acid coating that renders powders hydrophobic, followed by Polyhydrostearic Acid that improves dispersibility, making them easy to incorporate into the oil phase of cosmetic formulations. ASGP treated pigments can provide quick and uniform colour development, as well as imparting good skin adhesion and a creamy skin feel, particularly in pressed powders.
