BGCO-I2

BGCO-I2 is green Chromium Oxide that has been surface treated with Kobo's patented ITT (Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate) treatment.

The ITT treatment forms a uniform coating of lipophilic isostearate groups, which greatly improves the dispersibility of powders in various organic vehicles such as esters, natural oils and hydrocarbons. ITT treatment reduces oil absorption of the powder, which means the powder can be used at substantially higher loading in formulations without causing a dramatic viscosity increase. ITT treatment has good skin affinity due to the isostearate surface groups, making it suitable for formulations such as non-greasy cream-to-powders, lipsticks, liquid foundations, eye shadows and sun care formulations.
