KSG-016F is a non-emulsifying silicone gel that contains particles of cross-linked silicone polymer. KSG-016F provides a powerful soft focus effect and has a very dry, non-oily feel. KSG-016F contains 20-30% polymer particles in Dimethicone (6 centistoke).

Shin-Etsu's KSG series consists of cross-linked silicone polymers that are combined with a silicone fluid or oil to form a gel. These silicone gels can be used as thickening agents for the oil phase of formulations, which can help with water-in-oil emulsion stability. KSG-016F is a non-emulsifying silicone gel that contains particles of a cross-linked silicone with a 3-dimensional network structure. KSG-016F provides a powerful soft focus effect as well as a very dry, non-oily feel due to the rolling effect of particles within the gel. KSG-016F contains 20-30% polymer particles in Dimethicone (6 centistoke) and has a refractive index of 1.398 (at 25 °C).
