KF-6038
KF-6038 is an emulsifying silicone fluid. It is a branched, polyether-modified silicone with HLB 3.0. KF-6038 is alkyl co-modified, which makes it compatible with both silicone fluids and organic oils.
Shin-Etsu produces an extensive line of products that can be used as emulsifiers and as dispersants for powders. These emulsifying fluids are based on a lipophilic silicone chain (linear, branched or cross-linked) with either a polyether or polyglycerin hydrophilic group. Various modifications are available to make the emulsifiers suitable for various types of oil phase. KF-6038 is an emulsifying silicone fluid. It is a branched, polyether-modified silicone with HLB 3.0, refractive index 1.430 (at 25 °C), specific gravity 0.96 (at 25 °C) and viscosity 700 mm2/s (at 25 °C). KF-6038 is alkyl co-modified, which makes it compatible with both silicone fluids and organic oils.
