USG-106
USG-106 is a non-emulsifying silicone gel that can be used to increase the structural viscosity of the oil phase of formulations, which can improve formulation stability. USG-106 contains 8-12% cross-linked polymer in Isododecane.
Shin-Etsu's KSG series consists of cross-linked silicone polymers that are combined with a silicone fluid or oil to form a gel. These silicone gels can be used as thickening agents for the oil phase of formulations, which can help with water-in-oil emulsion stability. USG-106 is a non-emulsifying silicone gel that contains a cross-linked silicone with a 3-dimensional network structure. USG-106 can be used to increase the structural viscosity of the oil phase of formulations, which can improve formulation stability. It can be used in water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions as well as anhydrous formulations. USG-106 contains 8-12% cross-linked polymer in Isododecane and has a refractive index of 1.418 (at 25 °C).
Chemical Description: Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Isododecane
