OD75BJE

OD75BJE is a dispersion containing 75% surface treated Black Iron Oxide in a natural oil.

Kobo's pigmentary dispersions are widely used in colour cosmetics due to their multiple benefits over dry pigment powders. Dry pigments tend to aggregate in formulations which can affect the color strength, gloss and opacity. The colour intensity and opacity are usually highest when the aggregate particle size is closest to the primary particle size. The pigments in Kobo's pigmentary dispersions are surface treated to improve the ease of dispersion and stability. Kobo's pigmentary dispersions offer full colour development, improved gloss and ease of use.

OD75BJE is a dispersion containing 75% Black Iron Oxide in a natural oil. The pigments are surface treated with Kobo's NJE (Natural Jojoba Ester) treatment prior to dispersion. NJE treatment is a natural treatment that provides a stable hydrophobic coating which does not turn rancid upon heating. It provides a creamy feel and good affinity to the skin.

OD dispersions are Ecocert approved and are recommended for use in anhydrous formulations (e.g. lipstick, concealer, cream-to-powder make-up) and may also be used in emulsions (e.g. liquid and cream foundation, mascara, blush).
