Crystal LC USP

Crystal LC USP is Castor Oil that meets USP specifications and has a light colour. It is vegetable-derived, non-comedogenic and moisturising.

Castor Oil is a non-toxic, biodegradable and renewable resource. It contains a high proportion of Ricinoleic Acid (12-Hydroxyoleic Acid) and has high product uniformity and consistency for a naturally occurring material. Castor Oil is noted for its ability to carry a high concentration of dyes and pigments, which is a requirement of colour cosmetics such as lipsticks. The Vertellus line of castor-based derivatives range from low viscosity to high melting point solids, from unsaturation to full saturation, and from oil soluble to complete water solubility.

Crystal LC USP meets USP specifications and has a light colour. It is vegetable-derived, non-comedogenic and moisturising. Crystal LC USP is a solvent for a wide variety of substances and has excellent pigment wetting properties. It is recommended for use in pigment grinds, lipsticks, hair care, cosmetic pencils, eye shadows, creams and lotions and lip treatments.
