In 2014, Huntsman acquired Sachtleben, a company that is based in Finland and manufactures Titanium Dioxide for personal care applications. In 2017, Huntsman separated out the pigmentary business and named this subsidiary Venator.

Venator’s Hombitan AFDC range of pigmentary grade Titanium Dioxides have high brightness for giving whiteness and opacity to personal care formulations. Hombitan AFDC grades are exceptionally pure and are available with different crystal sizes, and in uncoated, surface treated and Ecocert approved versions.
